For the AWANA ALPACA collection, designer Mercedes Lamborelle draws inspiration from a living Geneva legend: the United Nations peacocks.

In 1890, Gustave Revilliod bequeathed his estate to the City of Geneva under one strict condition: that his peacocks must roam freely forever. A historical tradition kept alive by the UN and enriched by diplomatic gifts from India. Today, this emblem of peace leaves the Palais des Nations gardens to be transposed onto our exclusive, narrative pieces.

Part of an exclusive capsule collection, this fine shawl fuses a unique Geneva story with Peruvian excellence. Originally painted in watercolor by Mercedes Lamborelle, the artwork is captured in high-definition digital print on an ultra-soft blend of fine Peruvian baby alpaca and luminous silk.
